Administrators, counselors, and teachers are invited to participate in professional development, and participants can receive scholarships, stipends and/or continuing education credits.
Computer Science Teacher Leader Inquiry Group
UC Berkeley School of Education will offer monthly virtual workshops for CS teachers to explore issues of racial equity and take action to disrupt inequities in CS curriculum to meet the needs of their students. Workshops begin September 21st at 4pm. Teachers can register HERE.

Any school or district in Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, San Francisco, or San Mateo county is eligible to sign up. Teachers and administrators can begin the process to become an Equal Opportunity School by filling out this form.
Partner Schools have Access to:
School-specific analysis of AP STEM/CS enrollment trends, student perceptions, aspirations, and AP readiness
Monthly coaching for school teams to develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment of low-income students and students of color in AP STEM/CS
Quarterly meetings for schools to convene, share strategies and best practices, and gain access to expert insights.
Opportunity to participate in summer seminars, webinars, and continuing education for administrators, counselors, and teachers.
Classroom Credits: $15,000 in DonorsChoose credits for resources, technology, and classroom projects to increase equity in AP STEM. Learn more about the requirements here.
Priority access to student outreach and engagement activities, including career fairs, workshops, and the Computer Science Summer Institute at Google.
